Mapping biology in three dimensions

Enabling technologies for whole-body biology and precision medicine — from transparent tissue to single-cell maps.

01

Whole-body imaging

DISCO tissue clearing renders entire organisms transparent — then maps them at cellular resolution.

02

AI-driven analysis

Deep learning segments organs, vasculature, and metastasis across terabyte-scale 3D datasets.

03

Spatial omics

DISCO-MS and DISCO-seq link 3D anatomy to proteomics and transcriptomics in intact specimens.

Our mission

Accelerating biomedical research with enabling technologies

Our major goal is to accelerate biomedical research by developing and combining enabling technologies. We combine biomedical research with artificial intelligence, nanotechnology, and engineering.

From unbiased whole-body imaging to molecular analysis at single-cell resolution — we tackle major bottlenecks in understanding health and disease.

Our technologies

Whole-body imaging platforms we built

DISCO tissue clearing, light-sheet microscopy, and deep learning — integrated pipelines that render entire organisms transparent and map them at single-cell resolution.
