Biography
I am from Vienna. For my BSc and MSc I studied Molecular Biotechnology at the University of Applied Sciences. Afterwards, I did my PhD at the Medical University of Vienna at the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute for Cancer Research, focusing on the role of JAK-STAT signaling in adipose tissue and whole-body energy metabolism.
I moved to Munich to pursue a postdoc at the Institute for Diabetes and Cancer (Helmholtz Munich), working on a co-project with the Ertürk Lab on whole-body imaging and deep learning, including MouseMapper and DELiVR.
Apart from science, I really enjoy going to concerts, travelling, and watching good movies.
Research interests
Whole-body imaging, deep learning for organ mapping, MouseMapper, and metabolic biology.
