Biography
Hi, I am Laurent Simons from Belgium. After obtaining my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Physics, I started my PhD in (Quantum) Physics which I am about to complete. I recently joined the Ertürk Lab because of its cutting-edge research and tendency to explore uncharted territory in science, for a second PhD in Medicine.
Besides my passion for science and tech, I very much like hanging out with friends and movie (especially Marvel) marathons.
Research interests
Quantum physics, whole-body imaging technologies, and interdisciplinary approaches bridging physics and medicine.
