Qi Liu

I am Qi Liu (刘奇), born and raised in Hubei Province, China. In 2018, I received my Bachelor's in Electronic Information Science and Technology from China University of Mining and Technology. In 2021, I obtained my Master's in Control Engineering from Tsinghua University, focusing on machine learning and bioinformatics.

After three years in industry at the Global Health Drug Discovery Institute in Beijing, I started my Ph.D. at LMU in December 2024 and joined the Ertürk Lab. My work is on machine learning, foundation models, and biomedical data analysis.

In my spare time, I enjoy playing badminton, cooking, and photography.
