Thomas Schubert

I obtained my PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Regensburg, where I studied how snoRNAs influence chromatin accessibility and developed a strong interest in biophysics. Alongside a short postdoc, I completed a business degree (Betriebswirt IWW), which helped bridge my scientific and entrepreneurial interests.

I was part of the founding team of 2bind GmbH, where I served as CEO for 12 years, driving the company's growth at the interface of biophysics and drug discovery. I have now joined iBIO as Head of Operations in Biotechnology, focusing on translating innovative technologies into real-world applications.

Outside of work, I enjoy escape rooms, cooking, spending time with friends, and challenging myself on the rowing machine.
