Zairong Cai

My name is Zairong (Tsai-ing, in Hokkien). I am originally from Quanzhou, a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage City. I began my academic journey in chemistry at Fuzhou University and later at the Technical University of Kaiserslautern.

I moved to Munich for my Master's at TUM, focusing on biochemistry and organic chemistry. In October 2025, I joined the Nanotech Team at the Ertürk Lab to complete my Master's thesis.

In my spare time, I enjoy exploring cities and nature, cooking, and learning languages.
